Boots No. 7 Advent Calendar (2014) Review: Day 8.

Today, Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator for normal/dry skin. It claims to reveal “smoother and brighter looking skin” and “sweep away dead skin cells and impurities to reveal brighter, more beautiful skin.”

day 8

It’s a white lotion with grainy pink particles. You apply it by massaging in to clean, damp skin once or twice a week, avoiding the delicate eye area. I kept going for a while because I liked the way it felt. It’s not one of those gentle ‘barely there’ exfoliators. You really feel you’re giving your face a good old scrub! Once you’ve done that, rinse it off. I used a hot, wet face cloth. If you use very hot water you can make the most of the process by allowing the steam to cleanse your pores. The pink particles don’t rub in so make sure you remove them all when you rinse. Then, pat dry.

Make sure that if you have any breakouts on your skin you’re cautious. The last thing you want to do is spread bacteria around your face. Make sure you stop and wash your hands after massaging it in to such an area and when you rinse use the cloth on that bit last and put it straight in the wash.

After application my skin feels incredibly clean, soft and smooth to touch. It’s very fast and effective. I’m impressed.

It’s another nice sized bottle too. The suggested usage is 1-2 times per week. I will probably use it once a week (it’s not good for your skin to exfoliate too often) and at that rate I estimate that this will last around 6 weeks to 2 months.

Amazability factor: 9/10 (I love it. I’ll buy it)
