Bath salts today – posh ones, but still bath salts. Big whoop. They’re ila Beyond Organic Bath Salts for Cleansing – 50g, worth £5.
They’re supposed to help joint pain and aid muscle relaxation which should suit me, but I just can’t get excited about them. I think bath salts LOOK great in decorative bottles in the bathroom but I don’t use them. They remind me of grannies and despite my love of cats, brooches, scarves and knitting, I’ve not reached bath salt stage just yet.
I wasn’t sure what to make of the fragrance initially. I didn’t particularly like it but I didn’t hate it either. It’s very strong – perhaps it will smell better in the bath.
The crystals don’t dissolve until you break them up yourself and the fragrance goes from being far too strong in the container to imperceptible in the water.
What can I say? They didn’t miraculously relax my muscles or ease my joint pain.
No more than 2/10 today, despite the hefty price tag. Meh!
P.S. I don’t like bath salts! 😉
