Lanolips 101 Ointment today, 9g worth around £6.60. It’s a multi-purpose balm for chapped lips, dry skin, cuticles etc and it’s even baby-friendly!
(Ellie wants in on the blog action today)
I’ve used similar balms before but I’ve not come across this one. I’ve found that as they’re multi-purpose they’re particularly useful on holiday.
The last one I tried didn’t taste or smell nice at all so really wasn’t very pleasant as a lip balm. This, however, is fragrance free and doesn’t taste of anything.
It’s a very thick balm but a little goes a long way. You only need a teeny tiny bit for chapped lips and although this tube is little, it’s going to last a while!
It’s the colour of Vaseline which looks like a clear gloss on the lips and makes them feel instantly hydrated.
When applied to the skin, it leaves a subtle sheen which would look particularly lovely on the legs or decolletage.
I tried it on the cuticles of my left hand last night and this morning they were considerably softer than those on my right, so it’s definitely effective on that front too.
It’s not the most exciting product, but it’s an effective and useful one: 8/10
