We need to talk about Omorovicza!

I’ve already told you about¬†Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm (see here) which I loved but is unfortunately prohibitively expensive to regularly use. Well, I’ve just tried their Copper Peel and OH MY!

It comes in two capsules – you use one of each per treatment. The blue/green capsule (let’s not have that debate!) contains a “copper peel paste” and the white capsule a “copper peel activator.” You apply the paste to the face and neck, massage in circular motions to remove dead skin cells and then add the activator on top which when mixed with the paste produces a white foam. You massage this in for two minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

I’ll start by saying that my skin is currently shocking. Stress tends to make it flare up (I know I’m not alone with that issue) so it’s pretty bad at the moment. Anyway, I took before and after pictures which there is NO WAY I’m sharing (I look hideous and no one wants to see that) but I can definitely see a marked improvement between the two. My skin tone is more even and my face looks generally fresher and brighter.

…and that’s not to mention how it actually FEELS. My skin¬†is¬†super soft and smooth – like a baby’s! I’m trying to resist the urge to sit here stroking my cheek because (a) that would be weird and (b) it would defeat the purpose of such a thorough cleanse, but it does feel fantastic. It’s¬†9pm¬†now and I kinda wish I’d saved this until morning as I don’t know how long these effects will last so I think it would have been preferable had I used it first thing.

Anyway, back to price. Unfortunately this is another expensive offering from the luxury Hungarian brand, ordinarily costing ¬£55 for 4 treatments (8 capsules) (here) or ¬£90 for 8 (16 capsules) (here)¬†BUT a one-treatment, two capsule¬†pack is¬†currently available from Love Me Beauty which is a beauty box subscription service with a difference. As a subscriber you receive credits each month and you can spend those credits on anything you want from their ever-changing range (which is sometimes disappointingly limited I have to say). If you forget to use your membership credits¬†during a particular month, you’ll¬†receive an email reminder¬†and if you sill don’t place an order you’ll be sent a surprise package.¬†You can also buy add-on credits which don’t expire. Postage is an additional ¬£3.95 if you place an order using add-on credits only. What IS irritating is that you can only include¬†one of any given product per order but as there are currently 4 Omorovicza products available (including this and the cleansing balm I’ve previously mentioned) it’s currently worth placing more than one order. I’ve ordered the same thing three times – it’s more than worth the price of the add-on credits and postage.¬†You don’t need to be a subscriber to purchase add-on credits, so this could be a one-off thing if you prefer.

Should you not already be a Love Me Beauty member¬†you can get ¬£21 worth of credits (30 credits –¬†that’s 2 free Omorovicza products!) when you quote my referral code LOUIS792 at checkout. If you do so, I¬†get credits too so it’s a win-win!¬†If you’re interested you can register here¬†(click ‘join now’ in the top right hand corner of the screen).

Maybe using this gorgeousness and feeling the need to tell you about it was the nudge I needed to get me back into the swing of blogging… I’m conscious of the fact that advent calendar time is fast approaching and those¬†tend to be my most popular non-health related posts (according to my stats report) …and then of course there’s that giveaway! The prize bundle is looking pretty hefty this time and it would be nice to get that out to someone during the festive season, if not before.

So, speak soon.
